Guess what just arrived from Japan, unfortunately it isn’t my Air Runner suspension. What it is is a set of JDM Y34 window visors. What is mainly a old person or truck accessory here in the USA is actually pretty popular with the VIP sedan crowd. You know its JDM because the instructions are totally in Japanese.
These were ordered to as the next addition to Project VIP M45, mainly to satisfy my modding urges until the Air Runner suspension comes in. I was a little surprised by the nearly 6 foot box as it arrived at my office. I guess I sort of overlooked the fact that my car has a long sweeping roof line and no frames at the top of the doors. The lack of frames is also what makes it impossible to go with the VIP Curtains, as there is nothing to attach them to. So it just makes sense that the visor is one single long piece.
Is it just me or does this seem like a lot of instructions for what basically boils down to “Stick them on with the pre-attached double sided tape.”. I checked the box and there are no screws or anything else.
Seriously it is just the two visors with the double sided tape.

I plan to do a writeup on the install. It seems there is some special thing on the front near the mirror. Can’t quite tell where the clip goes. The jdm instructions aren’t really helping either. It’s that 4th image that is throwing me off. I wil be putting them on this weekend.

Got them on today without much problem. I’ll post pictures tomorrow. Figured out what that picture of the area by the sideview mirror, thankfully it was an easy fix to my first mistake thanks to that pic.
