Ben has had more cars than all of Jade put together and his latest one makes me extremely jealous. After much searching Ben finally found this Veliside Fortune MR-S sitting idle and brought it back to life.
It was a one owner car sold to Ben by an enthusiast who moved out to Arkansas. After being driven for 10 years , it was not in the best of shape. Ben took a flight out and drove the car all the way to the sunshine state. All of the bones were there the car just needed a bit of TLC.
For those of you who are not in the know the “Fortune” series of kits from Veilside are designed to totally transform the cars they are put on. The kit consists of all new panels for just about the whole car. Since the new car with the kit is considerably wider a set of custom forgeline wheels were made specifically for the car.
The entire car was repaired, repainted, and cracks and such were taken care of by Erik at Autoworx Paint & Collision. One of the best things about a widebody that has lived for a while is you get to see all the weak points in the kit and can reinforce them when repainting.
Not overlooking the engine a Power Enterprise Turbo Kit sits behind the driver to provide a nice bump in power. When Ben got home all the hoses were replaces and the engine just got a nice refresh.
The finished car is something that barely resembles the humble car it is built on, hell its more of a kit car that a Toyota MR-S now, or so Ben says.
