History has released some trailers for the American Version of Top Gear and frankly I am underwhelmed. There is just something missing, I think its the “snarkieness”, if that is even a word. The guys on the US show just seem so much like weenies compared to Clarkson, the Hamster and Captain slow. Check the videos out below and let me know if you think I am wrong.
The US version starts on Nov 21st so i will wait and see a full episode before I totally rail them. But so far my hopes are not high.
I mean compare those trailers to this one for the real top gear and I think you will know what I mean. I still think all they needed to do to bring top gear to the US was to air the episodes at the same time they do in the UK, done and done.

WBJWatching an episode of the real top gear and it makes me sure that the US version is not even going to come close.
