It was a hard decision for me as to which event to attend on March 9th. That day there was a large FRS/BRZ meet and Titan was having their annual open house. I was set to go to the FRS/BRZ meet but Andy and his GTSPEC BRZ could not make it making me solo at the event. So instead I decided to hit up the Titan Opening with Hue and Ivan.
We have been to this a few times and it is always a good time. They had a small car show along with vendor booths, display cars and a bikini contest. There were some really high dollar cars, mostly in the front where Titan and their buddies parked their rides.
The car show had a few nice rides along with a ton of Rucki, that is plural for ruckus, right? One of the Ruckus had the best backpack I have ever seen. Everyone wants Chewey as their co-pilot don’t they?
Up front there were a few GTR’s, a couple 911′s a turbo Lambo and of course a ton of Supra’s. But the car I was most excited to see was the RWB 911. Those of you who know RWB understand why I would be excited to see the car in person. Those of you who don’t know RWB, you should.
This car just has “attitude”, everything about it looks like it means business. This hand crafted piece of art was amazing to see.
I took out project 86 with it’s freshly installed Downforce Aero carbon fiber front lip and sides. Hue brought his 135i out along with our friend Ivan and his 335i and it’s newly delivered Volks.
Felix wanted to bring his CRX out put some pulley issues caused him to have to arrive without his prized ride. The show only had 4 awards. Hue and his 135i took home best stance with the “Jurrasic Park” truck taking best of show, yeah this car.
They were also running the dyno all day. We saw a Subaru BRZ with a turbo kit put down 260 and even got to see one of Titan’s supra’s put down a solid 1225 horses. I got some great video of the run and I will post it a little later.
All and all we had a good time and look forward to next year.
