They Beat you to it Ben: The Kogi BBQ Scion XD

This one is for Ben, someone beat you to it. For years Ben has joked about doing crazy things to our cars to make them stand out and one of his “ideas” was to add a hibachi grill since we like to eat so much. He would say “It would be perfect, we roll up to the show and while everyone is busy cleaning we are grillin’ Kobe Style!”. Check out the “Kogi BBQ Scion XD” from our friends at Air Runner Suspensions.

You can check this ride out in person at the DUB show on March 7th in Anaheim Stadium.

It seems to be a progression of the Scion DJ booth from a few years back, replacing beats with eats. The car looks simple enough from the outside until it goes all bumble bee on you and out pops a full on grill. If the Scion DJ booth and the Kogi BBQ Scion XD for a team they would be the ultimate party crew.

In addition to the grill the car also features a full Air Runner Suspension. This makes it easy to adjust the grill to the height of any cook. Ok, so that is probably not why they installed the fully adjustable suspension that features KYB struts allowing 4-5 inches of suspension travel, but it does make the grill height adjustable!
