The Ultimate Family Car? – M5 to go Twin Turbo V10

There are reports abound that the original family sleeper is about to try and take its crazy car title back. The rumors are that BMW will be fitting a twin turbo V10 into the ‘11-’12 M5. This engine would make 600hp and scare that crap out of an entire soccer team.
I have always said that if I was forced to get a “family car” that the M5 would be my choice. There is just something about having a big sedan with enough power to outrun sportscars on your way to drop the kids off at school.
In addition to the honking V10 with twin snails BMW will use an 8spd twin clutch tranny and an F1-Style KERS system to increase fuel economy. Can all this make the car more attractive than the CTSV in the crazy sedan market?
