With the cancellation of the American Top Gear (thank god, the brittish version is perfect the way it is) Tanner Faust will have some more time on his hands. It looks like he will be spending it sideways in his new Scion TC drift car.
Prepared by Stephan Papadakis and the team at AEM this thing is as much of a TC as I am a racehorse jockey, if you know me then you know that would be a sad horse. Considering a TC is FWD with a 4 cylinder naturally aspirated these changes are quite needed. What do you think they went with for power, a turbo maybe a supercharger, both? Nope, how about a V8 from the Toyota Nascar team.
Putting all this power to the rear wheels is a 4 speed manual tranny. Oh yeah, they also converted it to RWD. The car is so heavily modified it doesn’t even share the floorplan of a TC. Makes me want Scion to make a “special edition” TC because that thing has to be fun!
