Some competitors are in it because they want to be cool (ahh…get real). Others
think they can get rich and famous from building a nice ride (yeah right). Then
you have those that spend every ounce of dough and every minute of their day
coming up with new ideas because they just love cars and love the scene. Russ
(co-founder and prez) falls in that category. He was a legend in the Ford Probe
community back in the day. He had so many “firsts” under his belt,
he should’ve be in the Guinness Book of World records under “Modified
Ford Probe”. Russ’s Probe has been photographed and downloaded so many
times that if it were alive, it would have to start signing autographs. A true
pioneer in every sense of the word and a main reason why Jade is so popular
among the domestic tuner scene, Russell just kept raising the bar till he hit
the ceiling with the aftermarket challenged Probe. After a heartbreaking goodbye
with his “mahal”(love), it was time for a new project and once you
peep the pics, you’ll realize homeboy didn’t just “up the ante”, he
went “all in” with his widebody Acura NSX. If the Probe was his “love”,
this NSX must be a whole lotta hot, nasty, and unapologetic lust. One glance
and practically every guy wants to have her yet, only Russ gets to take her
home after an event. I’m telling you right now–as hot as this car looks in
print, it looks even more hardcore in real life. With enough trophies and accolades
to fill an entire room, The Prez is showing no signs of slowing down. “The
fun is just beginning and the mods are gonna keep on coming”, says Russ.
Look for big things and possibly a cover feature on Russ and his “N S Sex”
at the bookstands next year.
VEHICLE SUMMARY
Russ’ Acura NSX features a rare Route KS widebody kit along with a full 2005 NSX headlight and tail light conversion that was then painted “Jade Green” from from the 40th Anniversary Lamborghini Murcielago. To help set off this Acura NSX appart from the others out there it rolls on a fresh set of Volk GT-V rims and Toyo Tires. The Acura NSX is a stout performer from the factory with its 3.0L Vtec V6.
