Red Bull Soap Box Derby Atlanta

A weekend in September, Red Bull closed off a few streets in Atlanta to hold a soap box derby. Now you would assume, that anything sponsored by Red Bull would involve some sort of craziness, and indeed there was plenty of it.

The object of the race was for teams to build vehicles that would be powered by the pull of gravity going downhill. The race course consisted of some downhill obstacles and hay bales, and ended with a ramp jump. However, the fun and interesting segments of the race were at the beginning of each run where the teams would prepare a skit based around a certain theme. It was a hilarious event, and just another form of racing to enjoy!
