Checking out the auction listing for the upcoming Mecum Auto Auction in Kissimmee has turned up some nice cars, some interesting cars and this AMAZING Cuda restomod. A restomod is where someone takes an old car and updates it with modern touches like power steering, electronics and air conditioning. This Cuda is an amazing example of a restomod done right.
The entire car was taken apart with everything being restored including every nut and bolt, and yes it has a HEMI. Check out the specs below for more details and you can see the car on the block on HD theater or in person at the Auction in Kissimmee. My favorite feature is the tubbed rear to allow for the sweet wheel tuck.
It also turns out that our buddy Doug from East Coast Garage had a hand at building this and even got to drive it through the auction block. The car went for a cool $135,000. Not bad.
Check our coverage for more photos of this beast later.
