October Varsity Atlanta Meet

The first week of every month in Atlanta is always something special. In Downtown Atlanta at the World famous Varsity, cars from the area gather every first Thursday of the month. It is a good mix of people and cars, however the majority of the group are young kids out of high school and college that want to show off their rides.

We took the Jade Motorsports Nissan 370Z to the meet to mingle with the crowd. Police are always on hand to direct traffic, because the parking lot fills up quickly. That’s the good thing about this meet, because the police presence prevents any unnecessary burning out or motor revving. Therefore, what you have is grassroots car meet. Who knows what goes on after the meet ends?

If you want to check it out, come to Atlanta every first Thursday of the month. Cars start arriving around 6:00pm, and I would imagine that they hang out til about midnight. We have never stayed past 9:00pm to know. Even at that time, lines of cars are attempting to enter the lot in the city streets. See you next month.
