Nissan actually made the car from Tron – Nissan iV

One of the coolest things to come out of this years LA Autoshow was the Nissan iV concept that was made for the Design Challenge. This year automakers were challenged to develop a sub 1,000 LB vehicle that was stylish, engaging to drive, and easy on the environment. The Nissan iV was not the winner but to me it is a car of the future that I wouldn’t mind driving. Hit the jump for more pictures and a video.

This thing looks straight out of Tron and is all electric with all sorts of magnetic features. One of the coolest things about this car is that its magnetic suspension is actually housed inside the wheel. Check out the video to be blown away like I was, or just wait a year or two because this will definitely end up in a science fiction film soon.
