When the Nike Hyperdunk “Kobe Bryant x Aston martin DB9″ first surfaced, it seemed odd that Nike would pay tribute to a sneaker Kobe wore two years ago. It appears that they have bridged the gap, as the current Zoom Kobe V has been given the same treatment and will release alongside the aforementioned Hyperdunk.
A dark graphite grey covers the uppers of the ZKV, which matches the color of the Aston martin that appeared in the pack-inspiring commercial. A reg tongue logo and tan liner works to further the tie between the shoes and car. Special packaging included a silhouette of Kobe getting ready to leap over the vehicle with the phrase “That’s How You Do It” repeating all over. Final release dates have not yet been confirmed, but these are expected limited drop of the pack.
