He has been trying hard and has come close in the past but this past weekend Monster finally broke the elusive sub ten minute mark and broke his own record at pikes peak. The video of the run is after the break.
Monster piloted his 910-hp Suzuki SX4 up the 12.42-mile course in 9:51.278 and will forever hold the real record on pikes peak. Unfortunately locals are continuing with plans to pave the entire stretch of mountain roadway by 2012 in an effort to boost tourism and this will mean that sports cars and much faster times will follow.
