Make a light car even lighter – All Carbon Fiber Lotus

We thought Uncle Phil was crazy about carbon fiber but I must say Jimmy Wong has him beat hands down. He took his Lotus Elise and “literally” redid the whole car in carbon fiber. The entire outer body has been remade from carbon, not just covered, remade. The interior was not left out either.

It took TW Auto Limited in Hong Kong over 6 months to finish the project but to me it was worth the wait. They were able to shave another 30-40 kg (66-88 lbs) off the already lightweight Lotus. In addition to all the CF they added a KW suspension, JP Racing Wheels, Lotus Racing Exhaust and a Air filter/larger intake.

This must be like driving the Arnold Schwarzenegger of go carts.
