LS1 RX-7 is Tuned!

LOL! Finally, it’s only been like 5 months! ok, maybe 6!

So, with just long tubes, a cam, and a very restrictive intake, my car put down 383hp, with 367 ft/lbs. With ~15% drivetrain loss, motor is probably cranking ~440!

I can now say will all certainty, that there really is no replacement for displacement! Turbos, are the shit, and i love them, but the bigger the motor the better!

My dyno graph doesn’t start until ~3500 rpm, but at that rpm the motor is already making 349 ft/lbs!!! in comparison, my rotary maxed out tq at about 260, and at 3500 rpm was probably mid 100 ft/lbs.

It sounds freaking Awesome! Tuner says he’s postive i can spin the tires at about 80 by just stomping on it because my car is so light! It feels like having full boost from 2000 rpm till redline. it really is great! much much more driveable even then my previous set up around town, I absolutely love TQ!!!

Anyway, This weekend should be fun, I’ve had a smile plastered on my face since i got the tuning done yesterday. It’s cool.
