LED License Plate Lites for the Y34

I decided to make a little upgrade this weekend and install the LED bulbs I bought for the M. I should have taken a before picture, stupid me. Anyway the pictures are below the jump.

First off let me say that changing these bulbs was a pain in the ass. First you have to remove the pop tabs underneath the trunk lid and pull back the liner, easy. Then you need to find a small child, midget or a freak with tiny hands, not so easy. The opening to get to the bulb is tiny and you need to apply pressure and turn to release it, not easy when you have shrek hands like me.

I finally broke down and grabbed a pair of channel locks and was able to get a hold and twist enough to loosen it. I was then able to get it the rest of the way with my fingers.

I really like the look of these, they look like new Lexus. I think I will go ahead and change out my fog light bulbs next to led. Not bad for about $10. That looks like it will be fun.
