Lasers to replace spark plugs!

Researchers in Europe, with the backing of Ford Motor Company, have found a way to finally upgrade that 90 year old piece of technology known as the spark plug. Using lasers instead of the traditional method of ignition, will not only increase power, but increase mpg’s while decreasing emissions. The new technology should be appearing on next generation higher end Ford Models. Go get em’ blue oval!

Think about it, your next mod could be “laser ignition”! LOL! As the picture shows, the “Spark” is bigger, combusting more of the injected fuel, making more power, and reducing emissions caused by unburned fuel leaving the motor. Check out the full article here.
