"WBJ" White Boy James

Written by: Joseph Antequino

You may know him as web designer extraordinaire, or maybe even the mastermind behind one of the most famous highly modified BMW's in the euro scene today. But we affectionately know him as WBJ. From helping to coordinate Jade's upcoming appearances at future events, to managing and keeping all of our team sponsors happy, WBJ is the go to man. If there was ever a trophy for hardest working competitor in the scene, James would definitely be in contention. Not exactly new to the scene, by the late 90's James's totally tricked out Ford Probe GT had already impressed enough companies so much so that he picked up a national sponsorship with Jensen who used the Probe to showcase all their latest and greatest at Spring Break Nationals and other audio competitions across the land. So what is a guy to do when he has been there and done that? Well, if your nick name is WBJ, you turn to BMW's M division and pick up an MRoadster as the canvas to start your new work of art on. His theory: Don't start with a slow car and make it not as slow. That makes as much sense as PUSHING on a door that is labeled, "PULL". Says James, "start with a fast car and make it faster". "Start with a tight looking car and make it tighter". It Makes sense. Has his theory been working out for him? His accomplishments include a garage full of "Best Of" trophies, a part in the movie, "The Fast and Furious 2", sponsorships and endorsements, major features in magazines/videos, and he's even been commissioned by Speedvision to promote the sport compact scene as an official pace car for Sebring ...You be the judge.
