Iphone Ap Review – Drift Sumi-e

Drift Iphone Game

Check out this new Iphone Game called Drift Sumi-e. It combines drifting and and the art of Sumi-e or Japanese brush painting. The game is pretty straight forward. There are tracks and on it they show you the proper clipping points for drifting. You try to drag your finger across the track tracing a proper drifting line. You are judged on speed and line. After that you get a score.

I like the game, the replay’s could be a little bit faster as I find myself wanting to skip them and just move on. I have been having some small problems with it not picking up my finger when I try to start the race.

There is only one car available and its not a real car, they call it “Proto One”. it seems like a 350/Lexus/G35 mix to me.

They have all kinds of unlockable features like weather and track and camera angles.

The game is actually quite fun. I am not sure I think its worth the $1.99 for it but if it was at $.99 I would say its a home run.

I was thinking the same thing. Does it not pick up your fifer at the start every once in a while like it does to me. I’m stuck on the cherry blossum stage right now.

I bought it a few weeks ago, it would be a lot easier if the phone had a stylus to use and draw a line, it’s kinda difficult using fat fingers. Lol
