Infiniti M35 on Air Runner PAS Mag Feature

If you happen to be checking the magazine racks make sure you take a look at the spring 2010 Issue of Performance Auto and Sound. Featured inside is this prime example of a M35 with the appropriate stance, thanks to our Friends at Air Runner Suspensions. This is not your normal “clean” VIP look; it’s more of a VIP Show look. The car was GIVEN, that’s right GIVEN to David Huang of team Hybrid by Infiniti to help promote the brand with the Tuner Scene.

GALLERY:

David says he was purposely trying to push the boundaries of what is considered VIP. A big part of that is the Chameleon paint, which has drawn quite a bit of criticism among the VIP purists. For me I understand the point of the car and the paint doesn’t really bother me (remember my Mroadster).

The other aspect of the car that is above and beyond traditional VIP is the greddy twin turbo kit. We have started to notice a trend of some of the VIP tuners in Japan building what is best called JDM Super Sedans so it looks like David is right on track here with this mod.

I was talking with Brian the other day about how people don’t realize the importance of Rims and Drop on a car. Those two mods alone really make or break a car. David also got this right if you as me as I am a big fan of the rims that fill the wheel wells of the M35. Tucked nicely inside is a set of 20″ Progressive TS by our friends at Rays.

Speaking of the “tuck”, I can’t end this write-up without touching on the 1 thing that IS very VIP, the Air Runner Infiniti M35 Suspension. No matter what you are trying to do different you HAVE to have the right stance on any type of VIP car and thanks to Air Runner David does. The car can be absolutely slammed via the full system straight out of Japan. Due to the M35 be an AWD model a special set of struts had to be ordered as the non AWD one were too short.

All in all this is one nice Infiniti, with one very nice suspension, a suspension that will be arriving for our Project VIP M45 very soon.

Hey James!

Long time no see, greetings to you and everyone @ Jade! I’m very humble to find this write-up linked from a google-search (was searching pics of the car to show the bodywork/paint for a friend that is considering bringing his car to the same bodyshop, but I didn’t have its pics in my laptop hahaha) and thanks for the love man!

I’ve actually left Hybrid (another story another day) as of 2008 Summer, before I even began this M35 project for Nissan North America or the Rondo for KIA Motors America or the Porsche…etc etc hahaha

Anyways, how are things with everybody? I miss seeing you guys since the 06′ show tour & sema show (Uncle Phil, Russel..etc), and what’s new with you? I see a sweet 03′M45 coming along very well there you got! :)

Hope to catch up with you guys next time (boy did I though the Magic was crazy, Heat just signed the newest/biggest 3!!!).

Best Regards,

[D.Huang]

p.s. that’s not me whom replied above with teh spam post. lol.
