Its always nice to head out the West Coast and check out the rides and car shows every year. They always seem to set the trend, but tuners all over the nation now have access to all the hard to obtain parts from Japan and Europe. But still, Cali has that certain flavor and swagger to their cars that I’ve really enjoyed seeing over the past 10 years. You see it out there first at a show, you’ll see it later everywhere else! So while out there on a recent Spring Break Trip, I got a chance to check out some Cali rides and catch a glimpse at what’s new and in style at Hot Import Nights…
The first Hot Import Nights for 2009 kicked off in Anaheim, CA at Angels stadium with a new outdoor show format. All HIN shows this year will be outdoors and if you go early you can check out all the details on the cars during the afternoon, then enjoy the event at night as the sun goes down. The successful event featured cars, models, drifting, motorbike stunts, go karting and more for excited enthusiasts in Southern California. All the West Coast teams brought out their newly freshened rides with over the top mods as they competed head to head for the coveted HIN trophies. Congrats to the show winners and especially the HIN staff for throwing a great event!
