Hungry once again, we had several cravings... one
for good Asian cuisine at the local restaurants in the
various 'Asian-towns'... another for an abundance of
modified cars... and of course, one for the many beautiful
women of California! Needless to say, we were satisfied
after one weekend in Los Angeles.
The biggest car show in the Hot Import Nights show
circuit, Los Angeles had plenty to offer. Upon entering
the main doors of the Los Angeles Convention Center,
countless numbers of VIP styled cars from Lexus, Mercedes,
and Infiniti were on display. Then around the corner
were supercars from Lamborghini, Porsche, and Ferrari.
Veilside wide body kits adorned the RX-7 and NSX. One
would wonder if this was an exotic car show rather than
the glitz, glamour, and extravagant HIN event. Surprisingly
it was hard to find the regular sub $30K cars that usually
dominate the show. Cars worth noting was the High-End
Bosozuku xB, a VIP Styled NSX, and a twin-turbo FX45.
Jade Motorsports had on display Brian's 350Z in the
RIDES booth.
And if the over 500 cars were not enough to look at,
with each turn of the head, there were plenty of women
and hot import models that were breaking necks all night!
NOS Model Central featured Tera Patrick's line of lingerie,
you could say it was a hit considering the girls were
wearing thongs and pasties at this family event. =P
Babe Blvd was constantly busy as their booth was full
of the industry's top models, who were selling their
new 2008 calendar. Jade had the opportunity to meet
Juiced2 Model and Miss HIN DC Corissa Furr, look for
her upcoming Jade Girl model feature!
Although we did arrive a little late to the show than
usual, this was the first show that we ran out of time
and could not see all that was at the event... it was
just that big! Congratulations to all of the winners
at the show, and thanks to all of our fans and supporters!
