Showing that the black on black trend has no signs of fading the German Tunning house Wheelsandmore has taken the Bentley Continental Supersports model and turned the nob up to 11.

If you didn’t know the Bentley Continental Supersports model come fitted with a 6 liter 12 cylinder twin turbo motor that puts out 620 horsepower. Since that just is not enough the boys at Wheelsandmore fitted theirs with a new ecu and exhaust pushing the HP to 702.

When your name is Wheelsandmore you cant just mess with the engine. For the wheels part they fitted the Bentley with a set of 21-inch, 3-piece modular rims on Dunlop Sport Maxx. For the andmore they fitted it with an electronically adjustable suspension that can almost slam the car at speed.

To describe the car I am going to say something that local radio personality Russ Rollins might say. They took an already bad ass car and made it more badasser.

The Ariel Atom is basically a go cart on steroids, a tube frame chassis with a Honda K20 engine shoved in it. This is the little monster that basically peeled off Jeremy Clarksons face in his top gear review, see the video after the jump.

Whats the easiest way to make such a underpowered car faster, forced induction of course. Since the Atom only has 300 Hp and a curb weight of 1,375 so the folks over at DDMWorks figured that just turbo or supercharging was enough, so they did both.

By adding a supercharger and a turbo they have pumped up this wimpy little car from 230HP to 375HP a the wheels and to control the boost they turned to Japan mega tuner HKS.

If the regular atom could do this to Clarkson’s face, I would hate to see what the DDM version could do.

2010 Camaro Air Suspension by Air Runner

This is just another reason that I think I am in love with the all new Camaro. It is a great example of the factory getting it right from the start. It’s retro, but it still seems modern. I is aggressive as hell, it just looks pissed. One of the best thing about has got to be that it has some huge wheel wells. They seem to swallow gigantic rims without it looking donkish.

Now our friends at Air Runner Suspensions have given it the one thing that most of the Camaros I have seen are missing, the perfect stance.

While checking out Speedhunters day 3 coverage of the HKS Premium Day I found some more pictures of the Arena LS sporting a HKS supercharge hidden under a plastic cover. I also spotted another possible super sedan in the mix, hit the jump to see what it is.

In the pic below you can see the Plastic cover that is hiding away a nifty HKS supercharger which should be adding at least 50HP to the LS. Why hide it under a cover, not to scare the Germans?

That other possible super sedan, is this new GS with a nice set of BBS rims, and some huge Brembos. Why add such big brakes if you don’t up the power? Is there something under that hood that we don’t get to see.

Is this really the next phase of the VIP scene. It’s not a bad idea for the performance companies to target this demo. I mean if you have enough money to shell out $50K to $75K for a GS or LS you obviously have some money. Plus if you think about it this whole tuning trend really started in the early 90’s, 20 years ago. That makes the punk kids who were tearing down civics are now in there late 30’s or even early 40’s. As we get older our incomes increase and so does the cost of our toys.

You can already see the trend starting in the Euros, have you seen the amount of Tuned M3’s and 335’s out there. As prices on the Japanese sedans slide on the used market more of us will pick them up an do our thing.

Fresh from the land of the rising sun comes the latest from tuner Tommy Kaira. We showed you what they did the the Prius and now they have taken the knife to Nissan’s GTR and dubbed it the “Silver Wolf”. If you ask me it’s like putting lipstick on a wolf, underneath its still just a wolf, a very nice wolf.

Keeping with the trend of most tuners GTR offerings they left the engine bone stock. This is due to Nissan making it very hard to mod the car, and voiding the warranty if you even think of touching it.

They have fitted a body kit, new suspension, rims and pimped out the interior. For me, I am still waiting for a tuner to come out with a real upgrade to Godzilla.

In Japan there is a whole culture of modders who love builing crazy ass vans. The Toyota Vellfire is a high end Japan only model and also happens to be the most popular choice of modders.

One of the first things you might notice is the very unique “flat red” exterior. I know your saying it is just another company who painted their project satin, so what. Well upon further inspection you will realize that it is not paint giving off that satin look, its leather. Yes, leather. In what they believe is a first Airrunner has wrapped the entire van in leather.

When we say the entire car we mean it, they roof, the fenders, the doors and even the hood. All leather. Now this is a supposed to be a VIP themed car so plain leather isn’t enough, you need “diamond stitched” or “pillow stitched” leather be be real VIP. So the entire hood and roof were hand stitched in the distinctive pattern.

The real star of the car is the Air Runner TC-5 air runner system with Accuair e-level ride height control. This suspension has everything. Not only can you adjust the height you get to adjust how hard or soft the suspension is and it has 6 available presets so you don’t need to keep messing with the settings.

The rest of the car got the full treatment also, with big brakes from Rotora, A Wald Black Bison Edition body kit and a decked out interior to match.

Check out this tuned 370Z from the folks a Senner. The car is not at all terrible, it doesn’t even have a body kit on it. There are no crazy scoops or giant wings so you may be asking, what am I talking about “juicers”? Hit the jump to see what the hell I am talking about.

They went with the dual set of rims gimmick and the white set has got to be one of the ugliest rims I have ever seen. Other than that the car features KW Coilovers, an Invidia exhaust system featuring 101 mm pipes and a sport air filter. The result is a 21 HP bump taking the 370 to a respectable 353 horses.

Over the hill you hear what sounds like a jet engine and this thing tears onto the sidelines to drop off 5 little shaved head David Beckham miniatures. I have to say If I ever needed the space of a mini van or an SUV and had the dough I would be all over this. With it’s over 700HP from a two larger turbos, a sport exhaust and other tweaks this thing will do a claimed 0-60 in only 4.5 seconds, thats Audo S5 fast. To help haul you down from its claimed 290Km/h top speed they have fitted it with huge 12-piston front an 4-piston rear brakes.

I’m not sure how much you will need those brakes because the Gladiator should scare anything in your way to the shoulder. With a full bodykit, ,massive 23 inch rims and enough carbon fiber to make Uncle Phill faint it definitely pulls of a menacing look.

PRESS RELEASE ENCO Exklusive – ENCO Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo
(Based on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo)

The Gladiator
Up until the year 2002, it was completely unthinkable to most people in Germany, and especially to sports car fans, that Porsche would at some point in time make a sports utility vehicle. The name Porsche has always been synonymous with thoroughbred sports cars, in most cases rear or mid-engined. However, the Cayenne proved to have the recipe for success. In the 2003/2004 financial year it moved almost 40,000 units and was by far the most popular Porsche model.

The “Zuffenhausen Bull” also quickly became popular with tuners, as it offered, both visually and technically, an outstanding basis for monumental show and performance projects. Less well-known than the market leaders, Chemnitz-based ENCO Exklusive have produced probably one of the best Cayenne interpretations with their ENCO Gladiator.

It’s the second glance that makes the difference
Even though the Gladiator is noticeably bigger and more powerful than the normal Cayenne at first glance, you have to look carefully to see how meticulously the team, centred around Jens Engelmann, have integrated their aerodynamic kit with the full size SUV.
What is not immediately obvious is the ENCO front apron right underneath the car with its huge air intake and its integrated rows of daytime running lights, another set of which can be found on the diffuser apron at the rear which has distinctive fins and a central opening for the exhaust pipe. The bonnet with incorporated air intakes is crafted out of carbon. Even less obvious is the roof spoiler with air flow openings and the widened side panels with recessed air vents which, along with the side skirts, make the Porsche appear more muscular and broad. Only Cayenne experts can really spot the aerodynamic styling just a few centimetres under the skirting-line at first glance. It’s “well hidden”, but forms a significant part of the dynamic performance of the ENCO Porsche. The two-tone black and Bordeaux red paintwork is also very classy.

700 PS thanks to the turbo upgrade
The Cayenne Turbo itself is far from lacking in the power department, but ENCO Exklusive couldn’t leave it at only 500 PS and sent the Gladiator to the weights room. Through the insertion of larger turbo chargers, an ENCO-designed sport exhaust system with manifolds and sport catalytic convertors and numerous further engine modifications, the supercharged V8 – which is officially called the “Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo” – possesses a hefty 700 PS and produces some 850 Nm of torque. Even weighing in at 2.5 tonnes, the Gladiator still races to 100km/h in only 4.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of around 290km/h.

At such speeds, the Gladiator carries such an incredible amount of kinetic energy that a bazooka could hardly stop it, and must be able to be brought to a stop in as short a distance as possible. For this reason, ENCO equipped this high-calibre projectile with a high-performance braking system with 410mm x 36mm brake disks and 12-piston callipers on the front axle and 380mm x 32mm disks with 4-piston callipers on the rear. Of course, such an impressive braking system requires a lot of space, of which ample can be found in the ENCO Jura alloy rims. They measure 11″ x 23″ and are compatible with the 315/25R23 Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tyres. An electronic suspension module for the standard Cayenne Turbo suspension lowers the car by 50mm.

Red carbon
The wow-factor is continued inside the car. There are four individual leather/Alcantara bucket seats taken from the Porsche 911 GT3 that have been further enhanced with carbon backrests and red carbon-fibre padding. Wherever you look, red carbon gleams: Fittings made from the high-tech material adorn the dashboard, the steering wheel, the centre console and the door lining. Likewise, the whole vehicle is painted red, including the roll cage.

Looks like Hyundai is going to make a big splash at this years SEMA show. We already knew that the Genesis coupe was going to be a big hit with the Tuner crowd and this model from GReddy does not disappoint. Its not surprising to me that Greddy decided to start off with the 2.0 Turbo model.

I know all the hype has gone to the V6 model but I think its the 2.0T that is going to become the popular one for tuning. Much like the tuners pick the Turbo VW’s over the VR6 models. with all the support the the Genesis is going to get it should be a very fun car to play with.

What you are really paying for is the name and the limited edition. You could probably recreate a look like this with many more mods for much less money. I need to develop a program to “limited” tune a car and sell it to rich ass people for a 1000% markup.

Vancouver, WA – July 29, 2009 – Final concept images have just been released for the 2010 Aston Martin LMV/R (Le Mans Vantage Racer). Only 30 of these race cars for the street will be produced for the world. Following in the footsteps of the Ferrari Scuderia and Stradale and Lamborghini Superleggera, the Elite LMV/R is lighter than the factory Vantage due to most of the body panels being made from carbon fiber. The Scuderia, Stradale and Superleggera were built for the purists who wanted a race car for the street, a more nimble version of the production street car that they were built from. These cars aren’t for everybody due to their harsher ride and loud exhaust systems. This is the company that the LMV/R will now be amongst but even more rare and special. The Superleggera’s US production was 172 cars, the Ferrari Stradale seen 1,288 examples built and the Scuderia production is supposed to top out at about 1,500 cars. Compare these production numbers to the 30 LMV/R’s that will be built and you can see how special and rare the LMV/R will truly be. To take a Vantage and turn it into an LMV/R, many components are used. Here is a list of what comes standard on the LMV/R:

* Carbon fiber body kit consisting of: front bumper with screens, visible carbon canards, visible carbon front splitter, hood, fenders (2″ wider), side skirts, side skirt panels, rear quarter panel extensions (2″ wider), trunk lid with visible carbon rear wing, rear bumper with visible carbon diffuser

All LMV/R’s will be assembled in Florida and sent to and from the dealership that sold the car within the US. All LMV/R’s will be based on 2010 Vantage’s and will be very unique. The customer will order a brand new Vantage in any color offered by Aston Martin with any options. The Vantage is then picked up and sent to Florida where the work will be performed. The exterior can be painted the factory color or a custom color at an additional charge. The interior can be assembled in any color of the customers choosing since all the surfaces will be covered in new Alcantara.

It has everything the other version have, the Huge HP, giant brakes and awesome body kit but this time they made it look damn evil and I love it. Check out a gallery after the jump.

The only thing I would change is the horrible blue interior. Why make the car so sleek and mean and then give it an interior fit for a smurf? Black, and more black with some tiny red accents would have been perfect. Now i just need to buy a GT and raise 300,000 euros.

Not sure how I feel about this. The Porsche CGT is a pretty damn bad ass car in stock form. Not happy to let things be super Porsche tuner Gemballa has come out with a few tuned versions of the car, calling them the Mirage GT. There are two editions the exclusive Carbon Edition and the ultra exclusive Gold Edition.

They only produced 5 of the carbon edition which consisted of a ton of carbon fiber, black wheels and red accents. They also pumped up the HP to 670. The whole package can be had for just a small 300,000 euros. Oh you need to have a Carerra Gt too. I think I like the look of the carbon one better than the gold.

The gold edition is basically the same but it has gold accents all over it. Not sure how many they will make, it is supposed to be less than the 5 of the carbon edition.

This is just another reason why I might go domestic. I have already confessed that I really like the new Camaro. This is just another thing pushing me further to the dark side. Super Tuner Fesler just launched what they are calling the “2010 Fesler Moss Camaro”. It’s supposed to be a tribube to the ‘69 camaro. With an available supercharger that pushes the power to 600HP it looks to be quite the badass. Check the details and a sweet video after the jump.

Enhancement Model: For $55k or a mere $15k if you have your own Camaro.
Not much here if you ask me. You get an adjustable coilover suspension, custom 22’s and some stainless steel struts.

Competition Model: $90k or $50K if you have your own Camaro.
This thing is well equipped, it better be for 50k. It comes with a full kit, suspension, wheels, exhuast and even its own custom car cover.

Limited Edition Model: This is “the dogs bollocks” to take a term from my British friends. Only $150k or $110K if you BYOC.
It comes with everything the competition has plus a bunch of other stuff like exclusive body kits, wheels and enough carbon fiber to make Uncle Phil jealous.

Super VW tuner ABT has just released tuning programs for the MKvI Golf and GTI. In keeping with the in style right now they have gone with a black and red “evil” theme on the GTI. I really do like the all black look but am starting to wonder whats next, is the blacked out look getting played out?

ABT has offers a full kit with a grill and a rear spoiler for both cars. They also offer 18 or 19 inch rims. You can upgrade the stoppers to either 345mm or 380mm and you can also get a set of springs. In the picture I think the car is still too high. The power also gets bumped up to 240HP with various tuning and parts.

The Scuderia Spider 16M is like the “super type-r” of the prancing hose line. Only 499 were ever made and in stock form its pretty bad ass. I love the look of this thing. I almost did my 911 in this color setup. Check out the gallery and the press release after the jump.

I think the flat black wheels are really nice. I would love to be able to get behind the wheel of something like this. I have driven in a Ferrari, but never driven one. Maybe one day.

How can you make a Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M, built in a limited edition of just 499 vehicles, even more exciting and more exclusive? Easy, just take it to NOVITEC ROSSO, the world’s leading refiner of the sports cars from Maranello.

There the open-top lightweight model is fitted with the NOVITEC ROSSO RACE Bi-Compressor engine with 696 hp / 512 kW. It propels the Ferrari to a new top speed of more than 330 km/h. Just as important are the larger cooling circuits for water and oil as well as dedicated cooling circuits for both compressors and the intercoolers.

The extensive NOVITEC ROSSO RACE Bi-Compressor conversion, available for 47,000 Euros for this and all other F430 Spider models, offers unique performance. With a power output of 696 hp / 512 kW at 8,400 rpm the NOVITEC ROSSO conversion surpasses the production engine by 186 hp / 136.9 kW. Peak torque grows from standard 470 Nm to 682 Nm at 6,300 rpm.
Driving performance improves just as impressively: The tuned Scuderia Spider 16M sprints from rest to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, and reaches 200 km/h after just 9.7 seconds. The 300-km/h barrier is shattered after just 23.8 seconds. Top speed for the open-top mid-engine sports car increases from 315 to more than 330 km/h.

For further optimized handling of the lightweight sports car NOVITEC ROSSO offers an update from the standard 19-inch tires to three-piece 20-inch wheels. The NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 double-spoke wheels in size 8.5Jx20 in front and in size 12Jx20 in back widen the track and thus allow even higher cornering speeds. The custom-tailored high-performance tires in size 235/30 ZR 20 in front and in size 325/25 ZR 20 on the rear axle are provided by technology partner PIRELLI.

NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs lower the center of gravity and further improve agile handling. For added daily utility of the Scuderia Spider 16M NOVITEC ROSSO offers a hydraulic lift system for the front axle. At the push of a button the front is raised by 40 millimeters and makes navigating obstacles such as curbs, speed bumps and garage entries easier. The front axle reverts to normal position at a second push of the button or automatically once the car reaches a speed of 80 km/h.

To give the Spider exterior an even more striking appearance NOVITEC ROSSO offers blacks taillights, side markers and reflectors.

The lightweight-construction interior can be refined with exclusive NOVITEC ROSSO options as well. The ergonomically shaped leather/carbon-fiber NOVITEC ROSSO sport steering wheel features a flattened lower rim for easier entering and exiting. The NOVITEC ROSSO carbon-fiber shift paddles are longer than their production counterparts and make manual gearshifts of the F1-SuperFast2 transmission even easier.

Is it just me or are you pissed that we don’t get any of the really cool shit? The euro only type-R civic has been tuned by the famous Mugen. Check out the video and pictures after the jump.

Not too much is know about the specs but based on the Mugen Japan-spec Civic Type RR 4-door sedan, and the attached pictures the should at least be a set of 18’s, huge front splitter and rear wing, massive exhaust, an upgraded suspension plus at least 237 bhp and 160 lb-ft.

For most people a car like the Porsche GT2 with its 530 HP, 500 ft lbs of torque would be considered impressive. Not so for Porsche Tuner 9ff. As their Austrian brother would say “530 HP is great….for Girlie Men!”. They decided to take the GT2 and morph it into something so much more scary, they call it the 9ff BT-2.

This is like taking a GT2 and strapping an extra 996 Motor to it, adding an extra 320HP and 235 ft lbs of torque. What does all this extra power produce? How about a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds. 200 km/h can be achieved in 8.7 seconds, while getting to 300 km/h takes 18.5 seconds. Eventually, the car will hit its massive top speed of 386 km/h, or 240 mph.

Nothing too crazy as far as the exterior mods go. They replaced the hood, doors and roof with carbon fiber. They added a new front and rear fascia which adds 70kg of downforce at the front and 90kg to the rear.

How much does all this cost? How about $402,000 above the price of $192,000 for a GT2. I’ll take 2.

MTM has taken the already stunning Audi R8 and “hulkified” it. Coating the car in Porsche RS Green and pumping the HP up to an insane 560HP. Other than the paint they added a bunch of carbon fiber in the form of a front splitter, rear diffuser and side skirts. Check out the press release and more snaps after the jump.

I already love the R8, I think its one of the best looking and performing cars for the money. In stock form its about the same price as a 911 turbo but it seems so much more exotic.

Nothing off the peg: MTM individual makes the Audi R8 unique

• New programme at MTM fulfils every customer wish

Customers who want to avoid that their neighbours suddenly shows up with the same car, are now given a guarantee by MTM that this will certainly not happen. The new programme MTM individual meets all customer wishes and creates a unique automobile. Therefore, MTM allows an individualisation of the car, as far as the ideas of the customer reach. Nothing can top this exclusivity.

Motoren Technik Mayer (MTM) now shows what the individualisation programme offers. Following customer requirements, the automobile manufacturer from the Upper Bavarian town Wettstetten has modified the Audi R8 to such an extent that a unique sports machine has been created and there is no second car like that.

The most striking novelty of the middle-engine super sports car with the aluminium body is the garish green paint. “Porsche 2D8″ is the exact name of this brash colour which became famous on the Porsche GT3. With this work, MTM confirms its love for details. As apart from the large-scale paint of the aluminium body, the internationally successful car refiner also painted areas in the engine compartment and has left further accents all over the car. Therefore, not only the colouring is unique, but also the manufacture.

On all four black brake callipers and on the black fuel cap, there is a green “R8″ nameplate. The ultra-light MTM Bimoto light alloy wheels measuring 9×20 and 11×20 inches in glossy black, show the green nameplate “MTM forged” on one spoke per wheel and therefore refer to the high-quality forged technology of the rim. In the interior, the exciting car colour repeats at the seams of the suede MTM steering wheel and the “Quattro” nameplate on the glove department flap. Also, the “R8″ logo on the gear-shift shines in green.

But the striking colour does not reduce MTM´s own stylishness. Therefore, Motoren Technik Mayer sticks to the characteristic two-colour paint which is typical for the Audi R8. Behind the doors an area measuring 12 inches and painted in glossy black renders a contrast and gives the car a distinctive R8-appearance.

MTM-Compressor confers the V8-engine with 560 hp

And MTM would not be MTM when they settled with a new paint. Therefore, they also offer a significant performance enhancement. The especially developed compressor technology which made MTM famous all over the world, propels the performance of the V8-engine with 4.2 litres cubic capacity from 420 hp (313 kW) by a third up to breathtaking 560 hp (418 kW). Also the maximum torque increases by 34 percent from 430 to 580 Newton metres. MTM also offers this enormous power improvement for the Audi R8 with the V10-engine. By exchanging the motor electronics, the performance of the latter then increases from 520 hp (388 kW) to 560 hp (418 kW) as well.

The right sound is rendered by the new exhaust system with valve control which leads into four black ceramic-coated end pipes. Re-engineered side-blades which direct the airflow from behind the doors right into the middle engine provide the necessary air supply.

In order to transfer the newly gained power on the road, an extensive aerodynamics package renders the necessary downthrust. At the front, the splitter made of carbon fibre which is painted green on the top and matt black on the bottom thrusts the automobile on the tarmac. The side skirts and the rear diffuser, both also entirely made of green varnished carbon fibre hold the rear axle of this 4WD automobile on the road. Therefore, the MTM R8 achieves top speeds on the race track. In order to avoid hitting the ground on road bumps or garage exits, MTM added its Lift-up-System. This optionally elevates the front- or rear axle by 40 millimetres and enables the driver to master all everyday chicanes.

With the Audi R8 makeover, the world-wide renowned automobile manufacturer confirms that there are no limits to individual cars from MTM. This leads to exclusive automobiles in the highest production quality, precisely designed according to the wishes of the customer.

The folks at PPI have taken the already nice Audi R8 and slathered it in Carbon Fiber. With the addition of a full widebody, wider wheels, bigger brakes and up the HP to 580 this thing would make a great Batmobile.

With all that carbon fiber the car actually tips the scales at 550lb less than a factory R8. With all the upgrades the car is now capable of a 3.7 0-60 and tops out at 206mph.

This thing is one bad ass car, I love it in white.

With the SLR “Desire”, FAB Design has once more demonstrated its competence in the field of high-end luxury car customisation.
From the FAB Design high-performance engine which generates an unbelievable performance of 750hp and a maximum torque of 1,080Nm to the perfectly designed FAB Design interior – nearly any relevant part of the Mercedes super sports car has been customised and brought to perfection with the highest level of technical expertise by the FAB Design specialists.

The FAB Design body which has been redesigned by the Swiss specialist for this very exquisite
masterpiece is made of ultra sturdy but extremely light and precious carbon which is produced in an autoclave – as is the case in aerospace industry and in Formula 1 – and in accordance with highest quality standards. At several exposed spots, the material is even visible since it has been clear-varnished in order to set spectacular accents.

Apart from the front and rear fenders, it also comprises new and exclusive FAB Design side skirts with special recesses for the FAB Design high-performance sports exhaust system whose pipes come out on the vehicle’s sides as is the case with the standard SLR.

The completely redesigned motor sports front apron as well as the reshaped bonnet which is adapted to the style of the new front side and to the wider fenders are further exclusive FAB Design highlights.

The rear panel, completely redesigned by FAB Design, frames a huge diffuser which reduces the lift force. At the same time, the optionally available FAB Design rear wing spoiler increases the downforce at the rear axle without affecting the functionality of the brake assist inside the rear lid.

The result is a considerable improvement of driving dynamics and, thus, also of the driving safety at high and peak speeds which the FAB-Design “Desire” will reach in the twinkling of an eye thanks to its enormous engine performance.

The FAB Design specialists have achieved a further significant improvement of driving characteristics by installing their special sports suspension and by equipping the vehicle with huge forged FAB Design 20″ wheels which are provided with special high-performance 265/30 ZR 20 and 325/25 ZR 20 tyres by technology partner Michelin.

In the fist place, the interior equipment impresses with the way it harmonises with the vehicle’s colour. The interior is completely composed of black FAB DESIGN leather. The specially developed red FAB Design croco-style leather sets additional stylish accents. The FAB Design interior emphasises the appearance of the “Desire” with race character and elegance.

In order to make sure that the FAB Design “Desire” will not be taken for a toothless tiger, the FAB Design specialists have focussed all their expertise and experience on the super sports car’s powertrain.

Thanks to extensive modifications of the engine periphery and of the hard and software, the FAB Design high-performance powertrain now generates 750hp instead of the standard SLR’s 626hp. The maximum torque has been increased from 780Nm to 1,080Nm.

The result of all those efforts: The FAB Design “Desire” reaches a regulated top speed of 310 km/h and passes the 100 km/h mark in 3.6 seconds. This breathtaking demonstration of engine force is, of course, rounded off by the infernal sound of the FAB Design high-performance sports exhaust system’s total number of six tailpipes.

With the SLR “Desire”, FAB Design has made another impressive statement of its special class in the field of high-end luxury car customisation.

Unfortunately, FAB Design has limited the number of vehicles strictly to 15, and, although it was shown in Geneva only, the whole production is already sold out.

Wimmer the German Tunning House, not Wilmer Valderrama from that 70’s show has taken the already potent Porsche GT2 and turned the knob up to 11. All you need is $40,000 and a Porsche GT2 and you too can be on your way to 221 MPH.

Take a re-calibrated ECU add in some bigger turbos, new cylinder heads, custom Exhaust and some camshafts and you end up with a mind blowing 680HP and 642 lb-ft of torque. This will make it possible to hit 60 from a stand still in 3.4 seconds and top out at 221 mph.

To make sure you are not mistaken as “just another GT-2″ they added a full aero kit, 20 inch sportecs, suspension and fancy graphics.

Extra-Speed – by Wimmer Rennsporttechnik RS

Engine output at its best: Wimmer Rennsporttechnik Solingen traditionally turns cars into faster and hotter models than they already are in series. At the moment they target the new Porsche 997 GT2 Biturbo. Thorsten Wimmer shows the ropes with a 680 hp Porsche 997 GT2 Evo – delivered with 530 hp. The new competitive athlete from Wimmer RS is hot, tenacious and has a super cool visual appearance.

The sportive Porsche GT2 from Wimmer RS wants to get on the race track. It feels at home in tricky chicanes as well as on the streets. Full 680 hp and -remarkable 870 Nm are achieved by the following conversions:

* a bi-turbo engine
* an improvement of the engine management in combination with two optimized Wimmer turbochargers
* a custom-built Wimmer sport exhaust system with two 100 Zeller sport catalysts
* a development of the cylinder head
* sport camshafts
* a sport clutch

DTM-approved race technique appoints the genes of the Dunlop tire, which therewith opened a new product segment: the MaxxPerformance-tires. The Sport-Maxx GT – in 235/30-20 and 325/25-20, fitted on beautiful Sportec-rims, makes sure of an excellent stability of the maximum speed. Even in areas far over 300 km/h.

The optical appearance is spiced up by exterior mirrors and rear spoiler lip made of carbon. Upon request of the customer all parts can be made of carbon. The chassis has been improved by H&R- components, to cope with the increased driving performances.
