Mini is really out to get Porsche and to prove it they have just released this new video of the cooper training ala rocky. In the spirit of Rocky IV the video depicts the 911 as a tough as nails Ivan Drago. Complete with a fake adrian, mickey and even a Brigitte Nielsen and it is all set to cheesy 80’s music. A while back the CEO of Mini, a former Porsche employee, challenged his former employer to a race. They say their Mini Cooper S can take on the mighty 911 in a race at Road Atlanta. I was at the shop today having my rear tires “flipped” due to the negative camber I run in the rear. My camber is not overly crazy but I must say the car in the video after the jump wins the award for most camber while driving! The video has some language so watch the volume if you are at work.

I have to say that I actually like this show, its one of my guilty pleasures. The first two seasons were ok, but season 3 has become a can’t miss in my opinion. This is all really in thanks to Team Wu. In case you aren’t watching, which you should be, Team Wu is a team of two brothers driving a 2005 Murcielago in custom digital camo.

It’s not just that they are in a sweet Lambo, its that they are straight up hilarious. Oh and there is a jacked up midget in a hummer too.

The Ariel Atom is basically a go cart on steroids, a tube frame chassis with a Honda K20 engine shoved in it. This is the little monster that basically peeled off Jeremy Clarksons face in his top gear review, see the video after the jump.

Whats the easiest way to make such a underpowered car faster, forced induction of course. Since the Atom only has 300 Hp and a curb weight of 1,375 so the folks over at DDMWorks figured that just turbo or supercharging was enough, so they did both.

So Superbowl 2010 is in the books and there is a huge party happening in the French Quarter thanks to the Saints pulling off what some thought to be a huge upset of the Colts. Since my Cowboy’s (I know they suck right now) were not in it this was a hard one for me to pick sides on. On one hand there were the Colts and Manning, I really like him and think his commercials are hilarious. On the other hand there were the scrappy Saints, the underdog playing for a city ravaged by disaster. My heart went out to the Saints so I am happy they got the win, if for nothing other than the Mayhem it must have caused in the French quarter.

Unfortunately in america we don’t get the new seasons of Top Gear as they premiere, but at least we are now only one year back. As the Brits enjoy season or “series” 14 as they call it, us Yankees are just about to be treated to S13. BBC America has been carrying Top Gear for a while now but as far as I can remember this is the most caught up they have ever been.

His first featured a Bugatti Veyron dressed as a mouse while playing to original recording of the rolling stones satisfaction.

The Infiniti M45 was marked as “The Muscle Car Reborn”. In this add it was “The Muscle Car with Brains” To help demonstrate that they sent out this cool little movie on DVD to some prospective buyers. I had never see this before. I have to admit makes me feel like going out and hooning my ride.
