The boys over at Titan Motorsports have done very well for themselves by building and racing some very nice cars. Due to their success they have opened a big new facility here in Orlando and they are having a big party to celebrate. The party will include a dyno shootout, display cars and even a car show.

This one is for Ben, someone beat you to it. For years Ben has joked about doing crazy things to our cars to make them stand out and one of his “ideas” was to add a hibachi grill since we like to eat so much. He would say “It would be perfect, we roll up to the show and while everyone is busy cleaning we are grillin’ Kobe Style!”. Checking out the auction listing for the upcoming Mecum Auto Auction in Kissimmee has turned up some nice cars, some interesting cars and this AMAZING Cuda restomod. A restomod is where someone takes an old car and updates it with modern touches like power steering, electronics and air conditioning. This Cuda is an amazing example of a restomod done right.

Although their 2010 car is still firmly under wraps, Mercedes GP have unveiled the new silver and green colour scheme with which they will contest the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship. The team’s management and drivers Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg all attended the event, which was held at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in the German city of Stuttgart on Monday.

I already let you know about one sweet Datsun that will be up for Auction at the Mecum Auto Auction next weekend in Kissimmee, well it looks like Barricade from the Transformers movie will also hit the block. The listing says its from the movie, but you never know it may be a replica.

I was on the fence about possibly heading to to Kissimmee for the Mecum Auto Auction but now I think I may have to go. If you are a reader of the blog you probably know that I am not only a fan of Imports but I also like muscle cars, old and new. I love to watch the auctions in HD and always wanted to see one up close.

As the Tokyo motor show is fully under way the goodies are starting to roll in. Check out this report of the newly designed Nissan Fuga or 370GT. This one is kind of near and dear to my heart. I must say that I am fond of my Y34 model Gloria vs the current Y50 Fuga. There is just something classic about the squared off lines of the Y34. It’s tough for me to say how I feel about this body style yet.

Not sure if you heard that Toyota has a small problem with their floor mats. They seem to get stuck under the accelerator pedal and cause it to jam. Well they have just released the “Dealer Approved” method of fixing them. If you ask me this is something we would come up with in the garage late at night when trying to make a show.

Some of you may have noticed I have not been making my daily posts lately. I have been getting ready for my vacation. I am leaving for the Philippines tomorrow and wont be back until mid September. I will try and get some pictures of the auto life over there. I look forward to lots of Jeepneys and even doing a feature on my father in laws 1984 Mitusbishi Lancer (its no evo but they don’t sell them here…hehehe).

It looks that Ford is trying to target the “youth market” and Drifting Scene in a series of ads. I first noticed the ads on Yahoo with a banner about “Mustang Japan Drift”. Since Ford sponsors Von Gittin Jr, the ads are a series of videos showing him going through Japan in a ‘10 Mustang and even features the Drift King. Here is the first episode of season 13 on youtube for now. I am not sure how long these will stay up but someone has put up the whole episode in parts on youtube. The episode features a race between a Coal Train, Oldschool Jaguar and Vincent Black Shadow Superbike. This episode also features the reveal of the Stig! Check it out while they are still up. We thought Uncle Phil was crazy about carbon fiber but I must say Jimmy Wong has him beat hands down. He took his Lotus Elise and “literally” redid the whole car in carbon fiber. The entire outer body has been remade from carbon, not just covered, remade. The interior was not left out either.

I recently had the pleasure of heading over to Luxautica in Orlando Florida for a Magic watch party. For those of you who don’t know Luxautica started its life as a sort of “boys club” for the rich. You could buy into the club which would give you a certain amount of points. The points allowed you to rent out luxury autos like a Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo and a Ford GT. As a member you also got access to the clubhouse, the facility located across from the Mall of Millennia.
