It almost pains me to write this but the Stig’s idenetiy, from my favorite automotive show Top Gear, is no longer a secret. It turns out there has been a nasty little court battle going on between a man who claims to have been the stig for the last 7 years and the BBC who is fighting to protect the identity of their “tame racing driver”. This event always bring out the best of the best cars, I love going to this event to see some of the crazy VIP, Hellaflush, JDM, Old Skool rides. This year the theme seem to be Honda with Crazy Camber and lots of Old Skool rides.

A rainy weekend in Englishtown, NJ was host to the HIN/NOPI car show this past weekend. At the shows end, car show participants were upset, and for a very good reason, because the NOPI-HIN staff tells them they will not be annoucing winners and they will just mail home the trophies. Really?!? With years of experience throwing events you figure this would not happen. Well the participants have spoken and the following videos says it all. Yes, another movie is coming out! The casting call for the upcoming Fast and Furious 5 was held in Atlanta recently. As many of you know, our cars were used in the previous sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious which was filmed in Miami. Russ took his Zero Force widebody NSX in hopes of landing a repeat performance.

So mini has been trying to bait Porsche into a race supposedly at Road Atlanta. Well the truth finally comes out and the trick is revealed. Mini put together a tiny autoX course in a lot on Road Atlanta. So the race does not take place on the real course. The course is so tight that the smaller mini has a decided advantage against anything other that a go cart.

Sony has decided to toy with us once again and has said that the long awaited GT5 is supposed to come out on November 2nd. It will be in 3d and thankfully on one disc. They just released a new trailer video and it makes me want it even more. This could be what pushes me over the edge to get a PS3. All I can say is this better be the best racing game ever in the history of games. Its been 5 years in the making so they have no excuses. I may have to buy this just to drive the top gear test track, its that our become famous enough to be invited to be a star in a reasonably priced car. Since challenging Porsche to a Race wasn’t enough for Mini, now they are taunting them. Mini hired a plane to fly this banner above the Porsche North American headquarters. To me this seems like taunting a tiger at the zoo. It’s all fun and games until the tiger realizes it can jump the fence, and that it’s a frickin tiger.

A while back the CEO of Mini, a former Porsche employee, challenged his former employer to a race. They say their Mini Cooper S can take on the mighty 911 in a race at Road Atlanta. I don’t know about you but I have sold a few modified cars and I always thought I was careful. I met my buyers in a crowded place in front of a lot of other people. This is what our friend Steve from Mackin Industries when he met his buyer at a Target to show him the car. Unfortunately as he was showing him the car the guy jumped in the car and drove off.

Air runner has done it again by releasing an all new bolt on Air Suspension application for the Mercedes Benz W220. There is just something about a big benz sedan sitting on the floor that makes my day brighter. It really is fitting because the Air Runner Suspensions are very close to the factory air suspensions that come in the newer benz’s.

Ever since doing the original Fast and Furious movie Paul Walker has had the bug, the car bug. He has owned a R34 and did most of his driving in 2 Fast 2 Furious and the 4th film. So it was no surprise to me to hear he is having a M3 prepped by AE Performance for competing in this years Redline Time Attack.
