Cars and Coffee Orlando Coverage 5-29-10

If you find yourself in the Central Florida area and it happens to be the last Saturday of the month you are in luck. Head down to the Route 46 Entertainment complex in Sanford Florida for the monthly Cars and Coffee meet. I had been to a few of these before they changed the location from a parking lot behind some shops in Lake Mary to the nice route 46 entertainment complex.

This time my cousin Carlo and his newly completed RX8 rode out with me. We got there around 11 and it did not seem all that busy. I don’t know if it was because there was only an hour left or if the turnout was just a little weak.

One of the best things about the cars and coffee meets is that you get to see quite a few of exotics. The GTR’s seemed to be out in full force. I love the plates these guys run.

There was nothing as far as VIP content at the meet but there was enough horsepower to replace the space shuttle for trips to the moon.

One of my favorites at the meet was this super rare Bentley Continental Supersports. These things are nasty. They have a 612HP twin turbo V12 which pushes the beast to 60 in 3.9 seconds.

Just to mess with me there had to be a few STI hackbacks and this GTI sitting proper. Back when I was considering selling the M45 and going sporty again these were the top two contenders.
