One of the Bullrun participants was arrested today after rear ending someone with his MaseratiAudi R8 on the Turnpike near the 408 today. Police were already on the way due to getting calls about the cars doing over 100MPH through traffic.
No word on who it was.
The Bullrun Rally started in Las Vegas on July 8 and is expected to end today in Miami. It is basically a “rally” where really rich people drive and party across the country. Many “celebrities” have participated in past years, like the crew from Jackass. This year Ice-T and COCO are there.
The first report I saw was on Orlando Sentinel and of course they got it all wrong. Apparently it was an Audi R8 who lost control and caused a 5 car wreck that involved Ice T. The Audi driver had supposedly been warned to slow down by other participants yesterday but did not take the warning. He was arrested.
This rally is being covered by MTV, The Car Show on Speed has one of its hosts in the rally. I doubt the crash will make TV though, bad PR for what the cops already refer to as a nightmare.
This is not the TV show with Bill Goldberg of the same name, although the past winners of said show, Team WU, is a participant. Team WU was my favorite part of the Bullrun TV show and they have participated in the real Bullrun for years.
