Seriously, who decides to buy a car off craiglist and meet the seller at midnight, with cash? In Milwaukee two people were dumb or greedy enough to fall for the scam. When they showed up to meet the seller, lets say things went bad.
When they “seller” decides to rob them one of the buyers decides not to hand over the cash. The seller decides to shoot at them. Thankfully nobody was killed.
Since when did common sense totally become a thing of the past? Hey meet me at this gas station with a envelope full of cash at say, midnight. I promise not to shoot you and take it, ok?
The cop in the story said that people were lured by the hope of a really good deal. Ben where are you right now?
