It has been pretty busy lately and as I was working on the site I got to wondering “How long has it been since we went to this design?” Almost 1 year ago exactly we embarked on changing the Jade site from a stic page about just our cars to a full on automotive portal.
Our very first “post” was this one about the 2008 International Auto Show that we displayed at.
Since then the site has gone through some minor tweaks and improvements all trying to make you the readers experience more enjoyable. We hope you like the Iphone/Mobile Theme, the recent comments down the right side and the launch of the long awaited online store.
It’s been fun. It’s been crazy. We look forward to bringing you our thoughts on all things automotive along with original content like our How to Be VIP Guide and Available Kits for the 2003 M45.
This month we should be doing our Tech Article along on the Install of the Air Runner Suspension on Project VIP along with a model shoot featuring the finished product.
Some of you may have noticed that the site was “slow” over the last day or so. It turns out that one of the “features” we added to the site was affecting its performance. After a bit of figuring we found which item was causing the problem and eliminated it. We apologize if this caused any problems.
Also we have changed the look of the site a tiny bit. To make sure you are seeing the latest version please clear your cache and reload the site. This is easily done by holding down the “shift” key when you hit the refresh button.
Nothing major changed just some tweaks. I was able to extend the blue sidebars all the way down the page and cleaned up some of the fonts. Let us know if you like the new look in the comments.
